I am shocked and a bit heartbroken. Kennedy came home from school telling me that most of the kids in her class don't believe in the tooth fairy. What??? At age 6?? She said they had a conversation about how they thought it was just their moms and dads putting money under their pillow. Ridiculous! My little first grader, who has yet to lose a tooth, is questioning the authenticity of the tooth fairy. Actually, she came home very sure that these kids were wrong. She said that there absolutely WAS a tooth fairy you could only see her if you were another magical person (i.e., Elf, Easter Bunny, Santa, etc.). Whew!
