When I grow up....

Kennedy: "I want to work at the post office, the farmer's market, be a nurse and a doctor, drive a train, be a mommy, work at Applebee's, be a soccer player, sell ice cream at DQ, be a scientist with a lab, build things like roads, be a party planner and work at the China Buffet so I can eat tons of white rice.

Easton: "I want to be a baseball player, golfer, hockey player, firefighter and a dinosaur"

Me: "Wow Kennedy! You are ambitious! You'll have to tell me which one you like best. Hey Easton, do you want to be a matador when you grow up?"

Easton (in his most serious voice): "No Mommy, I'm already a matador."

COTTAGE (Wisconsin-speak for cabin)

We spent the 4th of July holiday in Wisonsin. Here are a series of photos that captured our visit to Sean's family's cabin. Most of our time was spent playing in the water, eating, relaxing (I actually finished a book!), fishing, napping and enjoying fireworks. The weather was perfect and the kids got to spend some quality time with Gramma and Papa. Thanks Kathy and Ron for a fun weekend!
This is the river walk down to their beach.

Hauling logs for their fort.

Beach and boat play!

The kids collected snails and clams.

Sadly, the only picture of me is my sandy foot. Cute pedi though....
Beer before noon.
Papa built the kids a beach swing.

Looking a little like his Poppy Vance with those ears.
Fish catching and cleaning.

Cuddles with Gramma.
Both kids were beyond excited for sparklers and fireworks.

Sean reeled in this 17" large mouth bass!
