As American as Apple Pie

The kids have daily "batting practice" with Sean. They both love to hit baseballs and Sean could not be happier that they enjoy one of his favorite sports. Both kids have skipped using the T and both can knock it pretty hard.

I have tried to convince Kennedy to play T-ball but she refuses. She has her own little activity plan laid out. "I'm playing soccer, volleyball, basketball and running track," she says. Easton, on the other hand, would try out for the Cubs if we let him.

Sunday Fun Day

We spent Sunday afternoon with my parents. We went to Como Zoo, Como Town and out to dinner at Old Chicago. It was a blast! The kids always enjoy special time with Poppy and Grandma and my parents were happy to get their kid fix before they head off to Spain this week.

Dear Diary,

Who am I? At 36 I am married with 2 kids and obsessed with a vampire. This does not appear to be normal behavior. in fact, last night I hosted a support group for others just like me. We watched back to back movies (Twilight/New Moon) and then spent time dissecting various scenes and characters while drinking wine and beer. At what point does this type of conduct require an intervention? According to my husband...NOW!! Perhaps he's right.
