You know what they say about payback…it’s a _______. I’m kidding (sort of). My weekend alone is now a fading memory as Sean heads to a friend’s cabin for guys weekend. But really, I’m not bummed, nor am I dreading it. Maybe because the kids are older and easier and both play really well on their own. But, probably because I fill the weekend with lots of fun activities. We're having dinner with another husbandless-for-the-weekend friend and her kids, spending Saturday with my good friend Sara and her boys and its date night for me and East while Kennedy goes to a birthday party. So don't fret, no need to call or bring dinner over, I'll be just fine, honestly. Besides, when I put those sweet little babies of mine to bed promptly at 7 p.m., I'll catch up with my old friends Corona and Blu-ray.

Boyhood Besties
Sean has been friends with his buddy, Jared, since they were in 7th grade. They grew up together, went to college together and from what I have gathered from pieced together stories, gotten in plenty of trouble together. It has been a friendship that has endured time and distance and always seems to pick right up where it last left off. So, we were so excited when Jared and his kids made a stop at our house today on their way from Boulder to Green Bay.
