Eastonisms

"I met another boy named Easton today.  His name is Mad Skills Easton and he can turn in to a crocodile and in to Dark Heart."
"I am pouting because Batman pouts. I am Batman."
"Sometimes people call me Sean.  I go to 5th grade and ride a motorcycle."
"How 'bout I can shoot fire out of my nose."

"Mmmm....I love Cantonese food."

I love my hair!

Since the doctor wanted to keep Kennedy's ear and incision dry we've had to wait a week to wash her hair.  For most kids that is probably no big deal.  But for a girl with a mass of long curls it was no small feat.  She has always had hair and it has evolved over the years.  At one point she didn't love the curls as they produced lots of tangles and daily comments from everyone from the Target check-out gal to Joe Schmo on the street.   Numerous people have had the audacity to ask if I take the time to curl her hair every day.  Actually, I started perming it at age 2.
It started out short and spiky.

Then it was short and REALLY curly.

Now it's long with mostly loose curls but some hidden ringlets underneath.

How many 5 year olds start their day with these (not by choice, by necessity)?
Now, the curls are embraced and this song/video has become her hair mantra:
