On Saturday we went to my parents house and made apple cider. It's something we used to do as a family when Mike and I were kids. In the midst of his nostalgia for childhood cidering, Mike bought an apple press in attempt to create similar memories for our kids. So, we spent the day picking apples from Poppy's tree, grinding them and pressing them. All three kids loved it! Kennedy was a hard worker and wanted to be involved with all jobs related to making the cider. Easton enjoyed the camraderie of everyone in the backyard and buzzed from place to place checking on things. Charlie....he loved drinking the cider. We came home with loads of fresh cider and very tired kiddos.
