Sculpture Garden

Last weekend Kennedy spent the day with her Grandma and Poppy. She loved that she got both of them all to herself for the whole day. Besides having so much fun at the Children's Theater she got to go visit her favorite Minneapolis spot.

Hands off!!

We were at the park the other day and two older and bigger little boys had backed Easton in to a corner and seemed to be pestering him. I was watching from about 15 feet away and told him to use his words and tell the boys, "No thank you." He said it, and the two little _____ (fill in the blank) kept hassling him and the next thing you know, he gets shoved. Hard. GROWWLLLLLLLL...that is my mama bear instinct appearing. Needless to say, at this point I intervened. But, it broke my heart to see my little guy get tormented by preschool riff raff.


It's so hard as a parent to tread that fine line between advocating for your child and allowing them to learn how to navigate situations on their own.
