On Saturday my mom and I spent the day together. For Christmas she gave me a day of shopping and fun and we finally got around to doing it. We hit St. Paul and went to Mosaic on a Stick and each did a little mosaic project. We went to ArtStart, all the cute shops on Grand Avenue and had lunch at Cat Man Do (food from Nepal...delish!). Late in the afternoon it started to rain so we headed to Rosedale. We had dinner at Big Bowl and headed in to Macy's. Just as we were leaving we heard the storm sirens go off. Tornado warning! So we, along with all the other shoppers, spent a while in Macy's luggage section downstairs waiting out the storm. We had a great day full of adventure! Thanks mom for everything!
Sean's dad made a quick visit to help celebrate the kids' birthdays. Kennedy got a pink Razor scooter and is already jumping wheelies on it. Easton got a remote control car and a dinosaur named Spike that walks and roars...bliss for a 2 year old boy.
