I'm pretty convinced that preschool's mostly for playing and developing social skills. You know, the basics that we use throughout our lives; sharing, taking turns, following directions, making friends. But, I do really appreciate that Easton 's school has a bit of an academic component. Since starting about 6 weeks ago, he is now able to recognize many letters, differentiate between upper and lower case, is starting to recognize numbers and can even write the first letter of his name. All new skills that are fun to watch develop.
