First Day

I have always loved the first day of school. New clothes, new shoes, new school supplies, the anticipation and excitement of a new adventure. Today was no different. Kennedy had her first day of kindergarten and it couldn't have gone smoother. Whew! She was very thoughtful and had everything set out the night before, even her breakfast bowl and the cereal she had chosen. She did great riding the bus and gave a happy wave as it pulled away.


I put my confidence in her and in the school staff that the rest would go swimmingly. When she got home she jumped off the bus with a smile, gave me and Easton big hugs and then gave us the play by play of all the mornings happenings. Way to go school girl!
