Big E

Nearly 3.

• My little man is convinced he’ll be six on his birthday.
• He adores his big sister but also terrorizes her daily.
• He is known for his coy smile and his clever little antics.
• He is funny and friendly and tells a great story.
• He is hard on himself and seeks perfection saying, “that was NOT a good throw”.
• He says the cutest little three year old things like, “I see a motorcycle with my big blue eyes”.
• He asks me every morning, “What are we going to do today, Mommy?”
• He loves his little blue-blue blanky and actually enjoys nap time and bed time.
• He is obsessed with cars, trucks, motorcycles, shooting fire, roaring dinosaurs, super heroes, baseball, football, golf and hockey.
• He rides his trike like he’s riding in the Tour de France leaning in to each turn and with a look of determination on his face.
• He has important things to say and when he says them he grabs you by the cheeks so you are looking him right in the eyes.
• He loves fruits and veggies and starts most meals off with eating those first.
• He has a fierce growl (literally)
• He has an intensity about him like no other 3 year old. The look, the concentration…when on task, he is one focused little guy.

Happy birthday (5 days early) E man!

We have a crazy week coming up and we will be out of town for his actual birthday so this pre-birthday post is my attempt to pay homage to my little-big man.
